Awarded publication for the legendary Savoy
In 2007 restaurant Savoy was chosen the restaurant of the year by the Society of Finnish gastronomists. The interior of Savoy, which is an important part of Finnish design history, was designed by Aino and Alvar Aalto in cooperation with textile artist Dora Jung and with the then newly established Artek.
Muotohiomo's team was asked to produce the 70 years' anniversary publication for restaurant Savoy. The production consisted of the work of the editor in chief, of editing the texts and of creating the layout.
The publication was awarded the Art Print of the Year in Galerie Art Design & Print Awards 2007. The organizers MAP Suomi Oy and M-real Oyj want to support internationally noteworthy and high quality communication, graphic design and print knowhow.
